Job description

As superintendent you are responsible for the coordination and implementation of the scaffolding
projects.

You perform all this in accordance with the correct procedures, regulations, VCA requirements
and requirements of the client.

Task package

• Follow-up of the allocated projects in order to achieve an excellent return and high efficiency
• Supporting the project leader with regard to the implementation of the project in terms of
  employees and material
• Checking schedules, assignments for accuracy and completeness
• Daily management of scaffolding builders, consultation and communication
• Consultation and advice with project management and personnel department on employment,
  training needs and cooperation
• Organization of the yard with regard to
  materials and tools
• Implementation of the safety policy and
  supervision of implementation by the employees:
• Guaranteeing a safe and structured work environment in accordance with the requirements
  of the customer, the legal obligations and the procedures and guidelines of VIP Scaffolding
• Performing the necessary safety-tours
• Evaluating the employees in relation to safety and quality guidelines
• Administrative duties in regard to the implementation of site activities
• Technical delivery of the sites

Your profile

• Extensive experience in the scaffolding sector
• Sufficient knowledge of the Dutch language
• You have a certificate for approving scaffolds or preferably as scaffolding inspector
• Team player
• Sense for safety and quality
• Being able to lead and take responsibility
• Being able to communicate well (with customers and colleagues)
• Stress resistant
• Has a valid certificate VCA (full)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Assets

• You have a valid driver’s license B
• Notions English, French or German
