Job description

As a project leader you are responsible for several projects and you independently guarantee a thorough technical, scheduled, financial and commercial follow-up. You perform all this while respecting the necessary quality and safety standards.

You have an intermediary role between the customers, the management of VIP Scaffolding and the project-staff.

Task package

Project management

• Preparation, development and follow-up of the allocated projects with the aim of optimal use of resources (personnel and material) and an excellent return
• Make agreements with clients regarding the execution period, the method of execution, etc.
• Advising and offering solutions to customers
• Monitoring progress of the various projects
• Provide support for the study department (measurements, technical advice, etc.)
• Daily consultation with the planning department
• Carrying financial responsibility for the projects

Peoplemanagement

• Motivate, inspire, guide and manage employees
• Conducting evaluation and / or performance reviews

Safety and quality

• Guaranteeing a safe and structured work environment in accordance with customer requirements, legal obligations and the procedures and guidelines of VIP Scaffolding
• Perform the necessary safety tours
• Evaluating the employees in relation to the safety and quality guidelines
• Drawing up the necessary project safety plans

Innovation

• You actively participate in continuous improvement.

 Profile

• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
• You are in possession of a driving license B
• You have good PC knowledge: MS office is a necessity
• The possession of a VCA certificate (Full) and a scaffolding inspector certificate are also a plus. Failing this, a training will be provided by VIP Scaffolding
• You speak Dutch perfectly, and you also have a good knowledge of the English and French language
• You are flexible and well organized, a real team player and you work very accurately and efficiently
• You have a problem-solving and result-oriented attitude and you have the necessary commercial and communication skills
• You act safely and quality-oriented
